My name is Yeawon (Ella) Kim, and I am from South Korea.

 

In my undergraduate studies, I majored in Entertainment Design (video design), which dealt with the process from pre-production to post-production. I planned, shot, and edited films. I did an internship at an entertainment agency to make promotional films. I got fascinated in VFX during the period so that I put myself into this industry.

 

Having studied VFX at Academy of Art University in San Francisco for the last 3 years, I’ve grown in many ways. Academically, I’ve learned the overall knowledge of VFX and advanced compositing skills. I’ve also gained a social network by joining several projects. It is amazing to work with people who are willing to help and support each other. Throughout all that, I’ve achieved personal growth as well, such as understanding people and getting along well.

I consider myself a passionate compositor with a background in film. I enjoy challenging myself and invest time and energy in improving myself. I cannot wait to work on amazing projects.
